Arc Revolution has come to an end, but we have two new great announcements that came from there. A new trailer for the console version of Arc System Works‘ BlazBlue: Chronophantasma has been released. This trailer showcases the new console-exclusive characters, Kagura Mutsuki and Yuuki Terumi.
And last but not least… Guilty Gear returns! A new installment of the series, Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- has been announced!
You can discuss about Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- on our forums. The game is currently in development for arcades, but we’ll expect a console release soon.

Tecmo Koei and Team Ninja have announced an updated version of Dead or Alive 5 known as Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. This new update of DOA5 will include new stages and characters such as Momiji added to the roster. Enjoy the first trailer seen below, there’s a good surprise at the end of it too!
Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will be released this fall on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
EVO 2013 will be held from July 12 to July 14, 2013, and its main game roster has just been revealed!

Update 05/07/2013. Injustice: Gods Among Us has been confirmed as a main event game as well, thus expanding the game roster from eight to nine.
The FGC has been surprised in the recent rise of a new KOF player we have never seen before: Wawa. He even displayed his impressive skills in a 5 vs. 5 set he played against MCZ|Mago. The entire set and an impressive highlight of the set are found in these two individual videos. Can he even be the KOF community’s answer to (U)MvC3′s Noah Solis?
Arc System Works has released a new trailer for the upcoming PlayStation Vita version of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core + R. For those that own a Vita, this trailer is worth checking out for those that look forward to buying the game.
FK Digital released a trailer for the upcoming PS3 version of Chaos Code. The game was originally released on August 4, 2011 for Arcades and is now released on the Asian (Hong Kong) PlayStation Store. Check it out while you can!

The newest update to Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear XX Accent Core will now be available for PSN and XBLA coming next Spring as a patch for the existing Accent Core + that was recently released for the two services between October and December.
A list of changes and new features are found below:
Added features:
- The “+R” title screen is adopted.
- The option to switch between the “AC+” and the “AC+R” versions is added to the Help & Options menu.
- It is possible to play all game modes in the “+R” version.
- Kliff and Justice are playable in both Ranked and all Player Matches.
- A “+R” only ranking board is added to the leaderboards. All previous leaderboards will remain available.
- New Trophies and Achievements will be added.
Usability Improvements:
- When transitioning to the character select screen, the previously selected character and color page will be highlighted.
- For all network matches, the conditions for the “Area” and “Connection Quality” settings are more strict.
- For ranked matches, the matching speed is increased and matching with an appropriate opponent is improved. When using custom search, the searching will continue to retry until an opponent is found. *It is also possible to cancel during the search. At the match preparation screen after matching, an icon displaying your connection quality to the opponent is added. When a match is found, sound effect, voice and controller vibration notices have been added.
- For player matches, multiple players can now enter the lobby. Rules can be set to “winner stays”, “loser stays”, or “random”. Within the lobby, voice chat is enabled. When not participating in a match, it is possible to spectate. When a new player joins the lobby, sound effect, voice, and controller vibration notices have been added.
- With a new option for network matches, it’s possible to set a preference for 1P or 2P. If both players have the same preferred side, sides will be chosen at random.
- In addition, based on user feedback, various other problems and issues within the game content will be fixed.

Today brings us great news for Arc System Works‘ newest fighter BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma. The game will be hitting Arcades on November 21, 2012, and a new character named Izayoi has been revealed.
