SMOAI keeps uploading competitive matches from Japan. Here some batch from another tournament of The King of Fighters XIII.
8 Matches fresh out from the oven!
SMOAI keeps uploading quality versus matches directly from Japan to the world. This is the turn of the 6th Las Vegas Shinjuku arcade tourney, featuring The King of Fighters 2002 UM. Some intense matches that you simply cannot miss! As highlights check the nasty Mature pulling out a quite awesome combo in the first link and a couple of 3-to-1 victories, forget the tier whoring matches, though, nothing new under the sun with them.
With the lack of recent games available in the arcade stage, the Colombian fighting game community had decided, like in other places on the globe, to make console-type competitions and tournaments. “Amanecederos Fighting” represents the initiative to test and enjoy new and old games under a high-qualified competitive environment, with a rapid growing community. Since Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (Almost the last game of its age with some current activities) we had cross from Super Street Fighter VI, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo to BlazBlue and Tekken. The tournaments have been characterized for casual matching and tournaments in every meeting. What make us different from other communities is that we do this kind of activities overnight: we test not only the skill and performance of our players, but also their physical resistance against sleep. We start our tournaments from 6PM until 8AM of the next day. Our brave participants fight for a place in the top rank of each fighting game we offer. Also we hold with some frequency day-time tournaments, but with less participation as we do overnight. As consequence we hold fewer games to offer.
The last Amanecederos Fighting was hold the last April 30th with the name “Kum Over Here!” as a keyword of one of the latest games added to our tournaments list: The Mortal Kombat, the most representative game of MK series. This game has arrived to be a big spot on the local stage, as well SFFIV, T6 and MVC3.
The event had been taken an unusual transcendence in the culture of this kind of games. We had cover from other important blogs and websites dedicated to the gaming stage (such as CX). Some websites has asking to us for allow them to cover our events, and also we had interviews from a local TV Channel (CityTV – Bogota) covering in live one of our tournaments.
