Yatagarasu, a game developed by three former SNK developers, is looking for crowd funding for a newly localized English version titled Yatagarasu: Attack on Cataclysm, as well as an arcade version for Taito’s NESiCAxLive digital distribution platform. Arc Revolution has come to an end, but we have two new great announcements that came from there. A new trailer for the console version of Arc System Works‘ BlazBlue: Chronophantasma has been released. This trailer showcases the new console-exclusive characters, Kagura Mutsuki and Yuuki Terumi.
And last but not least… Guilty Gear returns! A new installment of the series, Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- has been announced!

Tecmo Koei and Team Ninja have announced an updated version of Dead or Alive 5 known as Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. This new update of DOA5 will include new stages and characters such as Momiji added to the roster. Enjoy the first trailer seen below, there’s a good surprise at the end of it too!
Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will be released this fall on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Arc System Works has released a new trailer for the upcoming PlayStation Vita version of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core + R. For those that own a Vita, this trailer is worth checking out for those that look forward to buying the game.
FK Digital released a trailer for the upcoming PS3 version of Chaos Code. The game was originally released on August 4, 2011 for Arcades and is now released on the Asian (Hong Kong) PlayStation Store. Check it out while you can!
The newest update to Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear XX Accent Core will now be available for PSN and XBLA coming next Spring as a patch for the existing Accent Core + that was recently released for the two services between October and December.
A list of changes and new features are found below:
The “+R” title screen is adopted.
The option to switch between the “AC+” and the “AC+R” versions is added to the Help & Options menu.
It is possible to play all game modes in the “+R” version.
Kliff and Justice are playable in both Ranked and all Player Matches.
A “+R” only ranking board is added to the leaderboards. All previous leaderboards will remain available.
New Trophies and Achievements will be added.
When transitioning to the character select screen, the previously selected character and color page will be highlighted.
For all network matches, the conditions for the “Area” and “Connection Quality” settings are more strict.
For ranked matches, the matching speed is increased and matching with an appropriate opponent is improved. When using custom search, the searching will continue to retry until an opponent is found. *It is also possible to cancel during the search. At the match preparation screen after matching, an icon displaying your connection quality to the opponent is added. When a match is found, sound effect, voice and controller vibration notices have been added.
For player matches, multiple players can now enter the lobby. Rules can be set to “winner stays”, “loser stays”, or “random”. Within the lobby, voice chat is enabled. When not participating in a match, it is possible to spectate. When a new player joins the lobby, sound effect, voice, and controller vibration notices have been added.
With a new option for network matches, it’s possible to set a preference for 1P or 2P. If both players have the same preferred side, sides will be chosen at random.
In addition, based on user feedback, various other problems and issues within the game content will be fixed.

Tecmo Koei released a new patch for Dead or Alive 5 that will improve the game’s netcode along with other balance changes. The patch is now available for PS3, with the Xbox 360 version being released at a later date.

Fixed bug where skipping a command then clearing would halt progress during La Mariposa’s and Tina’s command training.
Adjusted the AI’s excessively fast reactions to player attacks on hard difficulty.
Power Blow settings carry over when resetting position in training mode.
Position reset can now be performed by pressing SELECT + R2 at the same time.
Titles can now removed at the Mission title set screen with the △ button.
Ayane’s Tenryukyaku~back turn (→→KK←), Kikkaryukyaku~back turn (Back stance PP→KK←) are changed from +7 on guard to +1.
Tina’s down throw (face up & towards legs, face down & towards head) at completion is changed from +5 to ±0.
