Well they're gonna force Harley and Joker down out throats no doubt again but I'd have been happy if there had been no villians in this game or at least, a decent spread.

I think I may have a problem with this game. Recently I bought Blazblue Calamity Trigger and I must say other than Noel and Bang, that game is very difficult for me to plsy. Knowing that this game may have a Blazblue command may be a bit too difficult for me.

It's really only control layout with 3 strength attack buttons instead of punch/kick buttons and then a special ability button. Still has MK's special move inputs and MK9's way of doing supers, and juggling/combos is probably still MKish. Should be fine.

MK9 command input is very simple and responsive just as long as you don't mash the buttons when it comes to combos. The way I figure it's likely they won't stray too far from it.

They also probably went with this system anyway because of MvC3, got to try to take players away from your rival, so they'll obviously want the game to be just as accessible as it too.

You also really should have went with BB CS Extend too instead of CT. It has a tutorial, combo challenges that like KOFXIII actually give you video playback to teach you (also most of BB's are actually practical), and Noel is easier to use than in CT, no whiff throw cancelling forward C to do her best combos. Noel's also super easy in CSII.

There is a japanese demo of Anarchy Reigns (dont know if you have it) create an account and check it out. Online is pretty fun, you can set the language to English and it will give you an idea of whats coming.

So it's a a bit of a mix between MK9 and BlazBlue, with some Vampire Savior/Darkstalkers 3 thrown in. Even with it's LMH attack button layout it still uses MK's dial-in combos for normals, and juggling still works like it did in MK9. Game is faster than MK9 with a focus on air control (air dashes, double jump, etc.). Has rapid cancels using meters involving a dash, way he worded it I guess it's a bit of a combination between RC's and focus dash cancelling from SFIV (since he said nothing about inputs I assume you just dash during a attack and it automatically does it if you have enough meter?). 2 lifebars works pretty much like it does in DS3, once the first lifebar is depleted the match just stops until the defender gets back up (I wander if they'll add health regeneration like DS3 later on in development?).

The preview reconfirms what I was worried about in gamespot's preview, in that the game is currently a bit too cinematic for its own good which slows down the pace.

Uh Calamity Trigger or CS Extend? Cuz nobody plays CT anymore @_@
...and what do you mean by 'Blazblue command'? MK uses common fighting game command inputs, any motion you could do in KoF or SF, you'll find something like it in MK and surely in this game.
 
I don't see how anyone would have difficulty with 3 attack buttons in a fighting game, haven't you played Real Bout or Last Blade before?

Exactly how is it a 'nod'? If he were added it'd be because of well fanservice; a little something for the Jonah Hex fans.

The game could've been a 4 or 6 button fighter and it'd be fine, I do get the familiarity intention tho, so in a way smart move.

SEGA suck like that? Most everywhere else I hear more praise for them with all the recent releases they've been doing. Yeah I'm a little  Undecided about VF5 losing some assests to compensate for the XBLAers, but hey everyone's enjoing it and overall they're doing great. The game's delay at least gives one time to clear out their backlogs, and really if the game did get released a little while after Japan you would be singing praise for SEGA.
Instead of making brainless comments like that about SEGA, why not actually consider why they'd delay the English release?

So far the only VS element in is the round system. I don't think this game can be designed to be fast enough to match VS though lol.
...and that Wager thing sounds whack, why can't it be a regular Burst mechanic? Ah well I'll wait til it's out to give it better judgement.

Wonder if we'll get a trailer by EVO?
