All hype, no substance. This will have a permanent home in the $20 bargain bin.

This game reminds me of WET but with higher visual quality and more freedom of killing choices and movement. I have no real complaints other than maybe it just gives a similar, a much too similar feel to WET which while not being bad just seems a tad uninspired. Yet there is little that I could really go off of other than the trailer.

Reminds me of Gunz The Duel with the walking on the wall thing.

Also @ Itagaki being praised as legendary

What an ego.

As over the top as that trailer was, ( which somes as no surprise, itagaki always produced over the top action in his games. ) I honestly need to see gameplay videos to judge.

The trailer was the gameplay.

The trailer was the gameplay.

You make a very good point... it sure is all in-game rendered, but all that camera close ups make it seems like in-game cut scenes. However there could be QTE icons that pop up at various moments (that they rather us not see right now) that would indeed make 90% of that video actual gameplay.
I don't know about all of ya'll, but this game is on my "sign me up" list so far Tongue

No RSX, Itagaki's known to abhor QTE's, if there's one thing you won't see in his games it's that.

None of it was gameplay of the finished product, as I understand it the trailer was a demo of the engine they've got intended for the game and the visuals something along the lines of what they are gunning for. In essence most of what was shown was what they want to put in the game and what's possible with the engine. Most of it looked quite possible to put into gameplay to me without resorting to any tricks.

I think that for me, I'm hoping the Itagaki that made Ninja gaiden Black (the best action game of all time, no contest) is what we get here and not the one that made 2 (although the Tecmo pay issue probably had a bad effect on production) or any of the DOAXBV games Tongue

Well then I guess its my former take on it  Cheesy....with the latter only being mentioned as the only possible means to make everything in that trailer actual gameplay.

by gameplay i mean like ... show is a 10 minute clip of the game without all the effects and the drama and the advertisement, i know that the trailer was from the gameplay but i wanna see the default gameplay. It should be interesting though, i have hopes for it. This guy's games always amaze me with the sheer amount of over the top action.

This game looks like a lot of fun. Ninja Gaiden meets Wet, running on walls, shooting and slicing, I'm on board.
