+1 Thread : who in CX is what fighting game character ?

I suppose if I had to compare myself to characters from various fighting games, it'd be Jon Talbain/Gallon (Darkstalkers), Oswald (King of Fighters), Freeman (Garou: Mark of the Wolves), Olof (Power Instinct Matrimelee) and Archer (Fate/Unlimited Code).

The reasons for these comparisons are because I believe i'm quite the serious person, rather calm and collected, and I do try to be kind to others, but I like to have a sense of style, and can be quite wild, and even vicious, if the need arises. The Archer comparison is because I love blades.

The issue is that not everyone lurks the forum and has a "reputation" here. Some people would probably love to participate or get a comparison, but they're probably not going to. If that user hadn't said anything about themself they'd probably never get mentioned. The only interesting points of view we'll see are the ones attributed to "popular" users.

But I guess it's not a big deal. I keep seeing the same names over and over again and I guess that's what happens when you're king or queen of the forum. My main point earlier was that Mai didn't have to snap at that other user. What if they really didn't know anyone else? Does that mean that they're not allowed to play, too? Where's the JUSTICE in that?

No reason to snap at that user, we agree. Moreover, in my opinion the "what character I am" is an interesting perspective too, as I already said. It's the "popularity contest" term that I don't agree on, it gives the wrong idea about what this thread is. The same goes for "king or queen of the forum". If that's what you think, no wonder you see this thread as something elitist. On the contrary, what I think of this thread, as I already said by agreeing with Mai, is that it's fun to see what idea fellow members have of each other by comparison with famous characters.
I think also that, instead of "popular users", the right term would be "known users". It's not easy to express an "interesting point of view" on someone you don't know. And there's more possibility that the old members who have been around regularly, or the more "vocal" ones, are more known. What you made seem like something elitist is just a logical, obvious and innocent consequence of being known or not.
However, as you said, it's not a big deal. People should just give this thread the right meaning and weight.

I really admire Sera, Very pleasant and positive. YET, i feel like you have matured a lot recently. I chose Cammy and Kasumi because of how sweet they appear and how strong they are when things get serious, because i think you strongly believe in your opinions and you stand by them. Xianghua was chosen because she gives off the same vibe as Kasumi and Cammy, yet i mainly chose her because of her "presentation", this is because she is always presented Gracefully, and very feminine. Nakoruru because of everybody else, they basically glued her image into you in my head.
