I wonder if he can do:
1.) Cancel his df + C into his hcb + B which is a close grab.
2.) Drive Cancel from hcb + K/BD > qcb + P into his (again) close grab hcb + B > qcb + P

Hah, it's just that I want to see the potentials of that move. K' can do loops out of his Minute & Narrow Spike. Kula with her Lay Spins + follow-ups. Maybe Maxima can do it too. xD

1.) Works. Crossup C, d.A, df.C, hcb+B connects. I doubt if you added another d.A it'll work.

Then without HD mode on and with, at least, 3 Power Gauges + Full Drive Meter:
Cross-up C, d.A, df.C, hcb + B > qcb + P Super Cancel DM/EX DM/NEO MAX

I think by definition if you want to Max Cancel you have to be in hyper drive.

Maxima only has three special moves (if you count air.vapor cannon he has four).  The cool thing is he does massive damage and his limit is his stocks (the more he has the more creative the combos can get).  df.C has pretty good horizontal range as well.

Combos:
-d.B, d.A, hcb+B.qcb+P -->
-(d.Ax3)/(d.B, d.A, df.C), Ex qcb+P (wires), df.C, (df.C), dp+K/Ex hcb+K.qcb+P -->
-Crossup j.C, d.A, df.C, qcb+P/hcb+B.qcb+P -->
-Crossup j.C, d.A, df.C, Ex hcb+K.qcb+P, [DC] Ex qcb+P, (wire) df.C, dp+K *In theory, instead of the last dp+K you    could do another Ex hcb+K etc...
-Hyperhop/hop C, Ex air.qcb+P, Ex qcb+P (wires), df.C, dp+K

If, --> Ex hcb+K.qcb+P, [DC] qcb+P, [SC] qcfx2+P
If, --> hcb+K.qcb+P, [SC] qcfx2+P
If HD, --> [SC] qcfx2+P, [MC] hcbx2+P NM

-d.B, d.A, df.C, Ex qcb+P (wires), hcbx2+P NM
-qcb+P (counter), hcbx2+P NM

Oh, and one more thing. Please, check if you can connect his aerial Vapor Cannon (A, C and EX versions) from any jumping normals against opponents also in mid-air.

Hmm, I don't suppose why it wouldn't connect for mid-air opponents, but I'll try later on.  EDIT: Only his (hyper)hop C is cancelable, his (hyper)j.C is not.  Course, hop C wouldn't be very good air-to-air (but very good for air-ground at the right distance).  Oh and, backx2 air.qcb+P works a la Kyo, Mai, Yuri etc... =)

Interesting idea, although after wire damage, two df.Cs into dp+K/hcb+K followups is more damaging.

EDIT2: Air-to-air j.A knocks them to far for the air.qcb+A to connect.

Quick notes between these two combos:
--> EX qcb+P (wire), df.C, (df.C), Ex hcb+K -->
vs
--> Ex hcb+K.qcb+P, [DC] Ex qcb+P (wire), df.C, dp+K

Is to use the second one for more damage, but first one if you only have 2 stocks and no Cancels.  Arguably, both combos can be extended but would personally use the first one for SCs and MCs as it uses one less Drive Cancel already.

Tested it today, after his EX hcb+K.qcb+P, it will not drive cancel into his hcb+B.
hcb+B.qcb+P itself will technically drive cancel into qcb+P, but it will not connect, (opponent falls immediately after the follow up to hcb+B.

Lol, I wouldn't have noticed what you wrote or read it if I didn't try to quote you. 

Don't worry I have no problem testing any characters I use (Chin, Maxima and Shen for now).  =)  Funny story, today I met a cool guy (Arturo from San Diego, sup ^.^ ) and he was using Shen and Maxima.  I introduced myself and we talked about CX and how I uploaded the videos, later on he did a full Shen combo SCing into DM and he replied, "learned that from you".  I almost died in laughter.  Those moments, no matter how indirect or how insignificance, makes all the trouble in recording worth it.  As long as one single soul benefits, I'm happy to give back to the community.

Strange thing is, Ex Air Vapor Cannon has such cool animation that after it connects off a hop.C, I remember thinking you can't really see anything when you land, I just slap on Ex Vapor Cannon when I land and away he flies...  Some how I feel it might crumple your opponent and hence Ex Vapor Cannon is your best option (otherwise the BBS would have told us to do a ground combo first).

I'm no K' expert, but I believe the dps are the C version, not the A but I could be wrong.

Oh ok, I was always under the impression that his dp+A was a single hitter while his C version hits multiple times.

EDIT: Today I successfully Guard Pointed (autoguard sounds more natural) Joe's Screw Upper DM (qcfx2+P) with Maxima's Vapor Cannon (qcb+C)!  

-It should be noted that in XIII, you take no damage for using Guard Points.
