Zero is a pussy against PTX Cheesy
Doesn't that also apply to just about everyone? @_@

...and will ppl shut up about JWong's comment on Adon already Cheesy
His match against gamerbee was pretty sweet, but I think what ruined his chances of winning was that he picked Rufus' U2 for the first set and randomly throwing it out @_@.

Also, apparently Ono said that there's more to SSF4; SSF4 Turbo maybe? He already said that SSF4 was the last in the SF4 project, but he has been known to change his decisions on things Tongue
Or maybe it's extra characters and what have you for SSF4?

Pretty obvious Ono was being cheeky about the new Darkstalkers and the possibilities of new content being in the SSF4 arcade release and being released on the consoles as DLC.

I was glad to see a good variety of characters, but still too much Rufus. There was alot of Abel too... but those Abel players were actually pretty damn good at what they did, especially Juicebox. I really wanted to see Gamerbee go all the way though, or Vangief. I was real surprised when Mike Ross managed to land Honda's Ultra 2 in a match, the setup for it was brilliant. Just a shame he didn't stick with it.

I was so happy when Snake Eyes won HDR with Zangief, that was amazing.

All in all, it was entertaining. I was a bit frustrated with the stream dickery though, and I hope they get that fixed next time.

Now we got Evo Japan to look forward to... SBO may of just went down the shitter.

You know, GamerBee beating Wong doesn't necessarily disprove Wong's statement about Adon being possibly the worst character in the game...

GamerBee played Adon on an extremely high level, reaction-wise and mentally. When you play at such a level, you can make any character *seem* top tier.

Mike Ross didn't deserve to beat GamerBee, not with that style of gameplay.

What are you talking about. Ross was totally rush down with Honda, and he managed to pull off some serious damage very quickly. What exactly is wrong with that style?

It's more about the fact that he is constantly guessing and not doing much reacting (aside from that one ultra he landed on Daigo). He tries to get lucky on far too many occasions...it makes him lose a lot and look stupid, also makes him steal wins he doesn't deserve.

And yes i've been watching him play ever since he started playing SF4.

Guessing is every bit as much of playing a fighter as reaction though. Sometimes you gotta make the first move and ask questions later, even if it's a completely un-educated guess, that's part of the risk factor, and occasionally you gotta take those risks to pull forward. It's like what the commentators of Evo were saying throughout the event, "if you guess right, it's a good read".

Eh yeah, I didn't bash the concept of guessing, I bashed the concept of making bad guesses and Mike Ross makes too many of those. Just because he eventually guessed right doesn't actually make it a good read. I'm actually surprised you took the quote "if you guess right, it's a good read"  seriously...you can tell the sarcasm in their voice when they said it.

Edit: Actually looking back, Mike Ross first game wasn't badly played but I didn't like the others at all...especially the fact that he got lucky with GamerBee's safe jumps

I think if Gamerbee played his cards differently and didn't use his whole super gauge on that combo and just did a FADC into Ultra 2, he might of ended up taking it over Mike Ross having that EX meter to use.

So Daigo raped everyone again... and this time with everyone even (he warned everyone that this time SSFIV got released worldwide at the same time so japanese players won't have an edge ahead). Tongue

EVO 2k10 Tekken 6 Top 8- Mr. Naps (Bryan/Bruce) vs Nin (Steve)

Tekken mtach at EVO.

Really, this battle between Naps and Nin was more exciting than the finals themselves where Nin ass raped publicly RIP and his Law. At least Mr. Naps gave more challenge to the already legendary Steve of Nin.
