Well I just tried the game out this weekend and I was not impressed, my buddy was pretty hyped for it but I was pretty bored. I hear people say the Tekken characters feel like tekken characters.....but thats not true. The simple gatling combo system wasnt doing it for me and play ssf4 characters felt weird because they look exactly the same and yet they dont work that way. The gems, we didnt even try to adjust them, what ever was there we used but it just seemed stupid, because of the flashing color of gem activation some moves look like they are ex when they are not.

This game feels rushed and really easy, the Tekken character models are just hideous in some cases, I cringed when playing as law, the Tekken character VA are hit or miss (it doesnt sound like they used all the eng VA from the tekken games)

Add all that with the DLC garbage and well I just cant find a reason to get this game. Maybe scramble mode or playing 4 player offline might be fun but only in a causal setting. Capcom has down pretty bad on this one.

Part of my enjoyment of cross is that it's feeling like the perfect rendition of a modern KoF game (for me).
- Team-based
- Projectile game exists, but aggression is favored
- Combos involve free-flowing air juggles and grabs (grapplers get a combo aspect)
- Tekken characters involve fireball evasion moves, air mobility, complex ground strings, counters, armored attacks, various KoF staples
- Big characters beautifully drawn (XIII's art went backwards)
- Better input system, shorter combos, less strict timing (and thus grinding)

I guess SFxT is the new KOF XII in bringing the negativity out of the people on this board.

Well unlike back then, I'm not going to get into any bickering. I personally enjoy the game, it's a lot more directly satisfying to me than SFIV was, and for the most part Capcom have put a lot of work into the presentation and character movesets. I really don't know how the game will fly in terms of tournament play and to be honest, I don't care.

No-one puts in more game complaints than you do dude. It's only because you play FPR that you can be taken seriously Smiley

I'm playing it online right now (Xbox) The sound is busted to hell, some characters play in complete silence, no speech, no sound effects, nothing. Sometimes, the music cuts out entirely for the duration of the match. This isn't my copy, it's a universal issue.
Games have bugs right? and bugs get fixed, but whilst games are being released with horrible build errors like this (which is a problem I believe the PS3 version doesnt have) then anyone has the right to complain about whatever they want.
Whilst I'm here, give us an option to turn the timer off online, in my own games and on replays I'm seeing WAAAY too many time-outs, which was also a problem with MvC3.

I love this roster, I like the presentation and I like the way the game, and the Tekken characters, handle. I also had a great time playing offline vs with friends over the weekend.
POISON, MAN, JESUS CHRIST, IT'S POISON.
But I'm not gonna suck Capcom's (or Poison's) dick and call it ice-cream just because**
At least on 360, They have delivered a game with a bunch of bugs. One mode that's listed in the manual isn't even available(2P offline vs online opponents, Xbox version has this option missing) and the aforementioned DLC fiasco. They are bizarrely releasing colour packs at staggered times, allegedly planning to sell macros and don't even seem sure themselves of who gets what characters and when.

Since when did having legitimate issues with a game become some kind of moral crime that pictures the complainer as a whiney bitch or whatever.
Enjoying a game is all well and good, but Jeez Louise as they used to say in the 80's/90's/00's/yesterday, I know when something's actually wrong with the product and I have fair reason to complain about it. I mean, this isn't exactly me crying because Momoko didn't make the roster...

Hey, hey, that was in the past. I'm not one to feel inclined to do that much anymore (unless it's Xenoblade, I'll talk about that one all day Tongue)

And absolutely, all those complaints are legitimate, I actually tried to play M_C earlier and the sound effect issue was awful.

If things hadn't been like this on the PC for YEARS I'd probably complain more about it myself, unfortunately about the only way you don't buy a buggy game these days is to not buy any at all.

Is that right? No. But there's worse things to complain about in this life and the only right choice a consumer can make if they have a problem with something, is to not buy it.

*edit* I probably should clarify this before someone brings it up, no, I'm not saying it isn't right to complain about glitches/bugs in a game you've bought, that should be done to bring attention to the issue and pressure the company into fixing it. My comment was purely related to content and distribution complaints.

If I remember correctly the ps3 have the same issue but i tought that bug show ups in 4 players online battle.

I think they didnt learned anything of MVC3 and UMV3 online netcode, SF4 netcode was fine because the game runs on 30 fps with 2 players but this game runs in 60 fps with 4 players who doesnt have the same badnwidth, what were they thinking?

The content and distribution are staying on my complaint list especially after the forum post from capcom unity was posted (saw it on hubs) were they were asking how can they make DLC that dosent look like they are milking customers. Plus I am not digging the character designs for this game
