Interesting article on the original design phase of the Playstation controller. Originally it was going to be more SNES-like (it still is IMO). I like how the designer came up with meaningful ideas on the use of color on the buttons.

I personally love this controller and I'm so glad they haven't changed it so much since the first PSX. Perhaps the only feeling I hated was the PSP brick (PSP slim controller was simply awesome IMO).

Also props to the meanings of the signs on the buttons, those were going far beyond random figures.

The fat PSP can be hard to play at times. I liked the slim PSP, though.
