It's an indie film.

It's a short, live-action movie that Capcom have given the official "go-ahead" to. That's not Tom Cruise though, it has been put together by fight chreographer Joey Ansah, who writes and directs. The film stars his friends from the business.

The movie is out!
Street Fighter: Beginnings End

Good points: they followed SF1 costume, and I love it
Bad Point: Shinku Hadouken was too 'MVC' style

Actually, the costumes looks more like SF Alpha style, Ken with the yellow gloves and ponytail Ryu with White bandana and red gloves.

This is the "Street Fighter: Legacy" film, directed by Joey Ansah which was released last week.
The video posted earlier is a different indie film.
Its only three minutes long, this is it though, it's not a trailer or anything Tongue

Here is the costume designs

Street Fighter: Legacy - Costume Design

Personally I like the fight scenes and the transition of Ryu and Ken from Beginnings End than Legacy, but both are great fan-made

Well, I happened to watch it and must admit it's a real awesome job from an indie film.

Even though the main actors are a bit scrawny, they sure are into character and know how to fight accordingly. The choreography looked nice, flowing and intense... as close as professional as they could be.

The photography, camera management and angle takes were also quite good, it gave the battle the intensity it needed to have. The FB effects and the flaming DP didn't look bad, I don't think they went too cheesy and I think they reached the level any indie film can go.

Music composition was nice, great soundtrack and good takes to the classic themes of Ken and Ryu... with some SFIV'ish feeling on it.

It's a shame the film was too short, but nevertheless was a great effort and a nice display from an indie perspective. Hope they can go on with these series. Smiley

a little pointless revival but... noticed something.

Seems Jon Foon (Jin Kazama in Tekken) was the actor doing Ryu. By now he's the only actor who has played the main characters of the biggest fighting games in actuality (Ryu and Jin Kazama)
