King of Fighters XII General discussion

I guess I should actually start a topic on this now that the netcode has been patched again.

Last night I was able to have some very smooth matches with some SRKers. A fair warning though. Red bar matches WILL STILL LAG. Not as much, but it's a nuisance. So anything yellow and green is great.

I don't know if this applies to the PS3 version as well since I don't have it, if someone could verify this that would be nice.

I'll be giving this new code some serious testing, but for now it's worked like a dream.

Yeah the 360 patch is said to be pretty good, if that's the case it would be great if they apply it to the PS3 ver.
What are some good CCs for Chin and Duo Lon?
Also how would a match, where CCs are not used flow?

yeah there is still laggy but yellow and green are "okay"

Another new patch? Wut? Is it for PS3 too or just Xbox360?

Granted I haven't touched the game in like a month, but I guess I can give it another shot... last time I played there were only a tiny handful of people playing on PSN, all of them red bar players. Probably Mexican or Brazilian. Yellow bar players were semi-playable, but green bar players don't seem to exist.

I don't know since I don't own the game on the PS3. Give it a try yourself and see how it is.

So far I've been able to play ReXXXSoprano and NeoDeadlyRave. The latter who whooped my ass pretty hard, god I was sucking that day, I couldn't seem to remember the ability to back+CD.

The matches worked fantastically for the most part. There were only a handful of laggy matches.

Sadly, this is just to little too late. Most people have given up on this game and I've got only know about 6 people that still own this game.

I dont recall hearing or seeing anything about a 3rd new update. Only new DLC but thats about it.

^^ Seeing as how it's a failed title and Ignition stopped posting updates on its facebook, it wouldn't be surprising. And at this point it seems their publishing deal with SNKP has caved through.

Well first off, was there an update? And if so, were ALL the matches red bars? Because like I said, red bar matches are still a no go.

No update.

Everybody online, all 6 or so players, were red. When I first got the game in September I'd see a few yellow bar players that were playable to an extent, but now they don't come around anymore. Tongue

Well I stumble upon this at SRK thanks to fiol, its a coproduction between SNKP and SHANDA GAMES (CHI) for KOF World aka KOF XII. Its going to be release in April 2010 according to him.
