These character designs are just... I don't even. It's like Guilty Gear and Darkstalkers had a teenaged girl that got pregnant by Arcana Heart.
Nobody knows how to design good fighters anymore.

It's hard to tell exactly how solid the gameplay is at the moment as I have not played it yet. Personally, I love where it's going in the mehanics department though. The game has a 6 button layout, tag team, air dashes, and a new intuitive way to handle infinites.
If you want to know more about how it plays, take a look at this 20min demo/interview of the game and what to expect.

Don't throw around the word butthurt if you don't even know how to use it.

Who knows, but it looks like the bastard child of Marvel and GG with the whole combo anything with anything endless air juggles nonsense so many fighters do these days.

Seconded hardcore. It makes little sense in the least endearing way possible.

The future face of fighting games.
It should of become apparent by now since the addition of whackjobs being added into KOF like Kula, Hinako, Malin, Momoko, etc, and the release of games like Melty Blood, Arcana Heart and so on. Nobody wants fighting games with characters that look like fighters anymore.
Even Tekken is getting hit by it. Look at Lili, Alisa.
Yup.
Character design in fighters is a thing of the past.
