Disco is King?
Steven Seagal?
Andy García?

Let me tell you a story about something I've seen. There was an exhibition of drawings by children from all over the world at the local mall. They weren't new, I think they were like made in the late 90's. One of the drawings drew of a map of the world, with a person representing each country. To represent Spain, the kid drew a man with a black ponytail, a blue shirt and white pants, with his arm extended like if he was tossing a coin.

IT WAS ROBERT

Pictures or it didn't happen. Tongue

But yeah, Robbie-boy it's been one of those characters that has Mexican/Italian/Spanish ambiguity. In the end, he's the image of the suave latino hot boy.

Ash's winquote to Robert in KOF12 addressed Robert as "fancy pants Italian" I believe.

According to SNK/SNK Playmore official websites, Robert has always been stated as Italian. ...Although I don't think I will ever see an Italian called "Robert Garcia".

Considering his name, he could be (even though he isn't).

I always thought, don´t know why (maybe read it somewhere), that Robert was Italian, as it seems he is.
Anyway, Roberto is the Spanish for Robert and I don´t know wich is the Italian for it. In the other hand, Garcia is an extremelly common (if not the most common) surname in Spain, but, again, I don´t know about Italy.

"Robert" is "Roberto" in Italy, too, and "Garcia" certainly isn't typical Italian, especially considering that it would even have a different pronunciation.

He is from Brazil, but they got his name changed to avoid being sued by someone with a similar name (or not).
