Do you like to see a sequel for KOF: Maximum Impact series? I believe that KOF: Maximum Impact series are good, the series were heading to the right direction with some modification on gameplay balance and enhancing game's visuals, I really enjoyed playing all the games from series, and I would like to see another sequel !

I'd rather MI stays dead. Story was dumb. New characters were crap. Gameplay was abysmal.

- Okay I agree with you about that but Alba & Soriee were good characters in term of design and gameplay, I didn't like the new female characters at all.

- About the story, it was very simple which is something not good, Just Alba wants revenge for his master "Fate" !!!

- About the gameplay, it was necessary to tuned down, the problem with MI series, it's button mashing, more balance optimization is needed to fix that, also Falcoon said that MI series is just 1P experience, but in fact KOF is a challenging game between 2 players where high levels of techniques are used in the game.

I want MI series to return badly. However, I want Falcoon to just use original characters excluding Athena 'Athena should be in anything involving KOF". MI had the best character interactions and very nice music and stages. It just needs a much better written plot and no more clone characters.

- The music is so amazing in this game, Toshikazu Tanaka from Studio Aqua did a great job in all MI series, SNK should hire him as the official composer of KOF games.

KOF: MI RA Soundtrack - Enigma Machine [HQ] [PS2]

KOF Maximum Impact: Dangerous Parking Lot

- I also like the stages design in all the series Smiley

- About clones, MI2 suffered from that, they put a lot of clones like Lilly Kane, Kyo, Armor Ralf ... but even that the game was quite fun !

- About Falcoon, he left the company in 2008 or 2009 ! but there are a lot of great artists in SNK that can handle his position like Hiroaki, imagine him doing the art direction of MI series, this will be amazing ! great artist Smiley

Alba & Soriee were good characters in term of design and gameplay

No way dude. Alba is one of the tackiest designs I ever seen. Lordy that ridiculous hair style, not to mention SNK abusing full leather AGAIN for every piece of his outfit. It was bad enough with K', but this guy makes it look even worse. Then his entire gameplay was spamming those damn fireballs you could shoot in groups of three one after another, that also OTG. Horrible character.

Soiree on the other hand, worst capoeira character ever. Who the hell thought a capoeira cowboy would be a good idea? Especially one as homoerotic and flamboyant as this guy. Should of axed this retarded character and just kept Richard Meyer, he's a million times cooler, and he's the original capoeira master of SNK.

Chae Lim was the only decent addition because -

1. She looked like a traditional fighter and her design makes sense.
2. Her alternate outfit was kickass and hotsauce.
3. Taekwondo kicks ass.
4. She's Kim with a vagina and boobs (Although that changed in 2)
5. Finally a female KOF character that fights barefoot.

KOFMI was only good for the single player experience, but as a versus game, it's crap. This game completely breaks the rules of traditional KOF games with the way things work. Nearly everything can OTG. Ridiculous wall juggles. Game is way too button mash friendly, something KOF should never be. You can easily mash out high hitting damaging combo's with ease in this game, and the juggle system and physics are so messed up, you can do tons of dumb crap. Zanretsuken over and over. OTG Power Geysers one and another. You get the idea.

The addition of a parry button/sabaki was also unnecessary. They took KOF and gave it generic 3D fighting rules, and it's just a mess of a game.

If they want to do a new game with 3D graphics, then fine, but it should play like a traditional 2D KOF, no nonsense like the MI games were.

The MI games were nothing but fanservice, and that is it. You won't find a refined technical competitive fighter here.

I am with millions times about making MI series play like 2D KOF, I would like to see MI series going to 2.5 D or 3D route but not changing the mechanisms of original 2D KOF, this will make the game cool, and I said above few things ruined the gameplay of the game, button mashing, your opponent will kick you badly without a chance to recover or escape, also as you said the wall combos which is something bad, no chance to do anything, also the characters have a problem with their weights, you will see them falling down like a paper which give the opportunity for your opponent to open attacks on you, it's 1P experience, but in fact KOF is not like that, it's challenging game, MI series will be good only if you made the gameplay as 2D KOF as you said !

I'd like another KOF MI game.

Me too, in 3D you can make things that you cannot make in 2D, you can give more details to the game and make more dynamic with camera motions.

I gotta agree with Izzy on this one too. Chae Lim was awesome... but sadly, there's already too many TKD dojo charas already on 2D (Choi, Chang, Jhun, May Lee).

In fact I prefer a male taekwondo character like Hwoarang, he is very cool character in Tekken, but no problem with Chae Lim.

Man, the 2p outfit of both Hwoarang and Chae Lim are a lot superior than their dobok. Chaelim's VERY sexy and sure would tap that if it was real. Tongue

We can bring Hwoarang to KOF universe and from there a love story start between Chaelim and Howarang, Taekwondo teammates !

KOF VS Tekken !

Alba was a pretty boring character and not my favorite hero. However, Soiree was kickass and regardless what others think, I truly dig Soiree. Also, if SNK ever does make MI3, they should go the Mortal Kombat 9 route. The characters in 3D, but in a 2D fighting field. I personally would like to see majority of the cast renewed and the only returning characters

Soiree Meira, Athena Asamiya, and Lien Neville. I love me some Mignon, but it's been SO long, I can live without her.

- Ah I like very much playing with Soiree, I like his moves specially when start sliding on you in the air (MI2), damn so amazing !!!

- If SNK decided to make MI3, they should implemented 2D mechanisms in the game, this will guarantee good gameplay system, they can learn from Mortal Kombat Team, at the end they decided to go back to the roots with 3D engine but with 2D gameplay system too.
