I'd rather MI stays dead. Story was dumb. New characters were crap. Gameplay was abysmal.

A-greed.

Plus, it was a major depth perception hatred. I wouldn't mind 3D ala Wild Ambition.. just.. something that won't move around too much in a 360 degree range.

I believe that Falcoon was trying to build his dream fighting game with MI series, this game or generally KOF games need artists like Hiroaki or Shinkiro, they very talented guys, they can turn anything to a magic.

2.5 D like Street Fighter IV and Mortal Kombat.

I'll keep saying, I still think it's best they work on the 2D KoF's to make them better and more popular and them bring back other franchises they've been neglecting and only after that maybe give another shot at MI. Besides the MI story-line doesn't even need the KoF characters, they just don't play an important role.

Besides, yeah, most of the chars aren't very fitting for KoF standards, unless they end up redesigning them and ditching some of the clones in the process. As for taking the MK aproach with 2.5D gameplay, hmm, I dunno, you'd still have a not very solid gameplay that still makes it too easy to spam easy combos. Plus some moves just didn't translate well at all when animated in 3D. Just seems that doing all those things they'd have to start the whole thing from scratch, guess it would be ok if they took that aproach for a new IP instead of slapping it in with the KoF series.

MI is kinda fun at first but gets old pretty fast.

The animation in MI series is not well done, sometimes you will find missing frames, I remember Kyo in MI one has missing frames when he was dashing backward <-- <--, as you said, they need to do everything from the scratch,

And Ogura too.

- I mentioned Ogura in my post below.

--- --- --- --- ---

- Despite of your hate or love, how you can handle the MI Series if you were the producer? what you will do to the game to meet the success? try to concentrate on 3 points, gameplay, story, graphics ...

- If I have the chance to create another MI game, first thing I will do is changing some staffs position to be like this :

- Character Designer ---> Hiroaki : He is very talented artist, I believe he is the second favorite KOF artist after Shinkiro, most of KOF fans like his art, I believe he is the right man for this position.

- Art Director ---> Hiroaki & Ogura : Two brains better than one, Ogura can work as assistant for Hiroaki, you can see that SNK counts on him, he did KOF XII & KOF XIII artworks.

- Producer ---> Yamamoto : He proved to all KOF fans that he is a hard worker, you can see how much efforts he put into the Console version of KOF XIII with his team, MI series need a person like him, where he can revive the series from the ashes.

- Composer ---> Toshikazu Tanaka ~ Studio Aqua ~ : No need to introduce this person, he is very well known that he can produce such very beautiful music for KOF games.

Maximum Impact 2 music - Next Warrior (1/83)

Kof MI Regulation A OST - Blue Heaven (Kyokugen Dojo)

KOF MAXIMUM IMPACT REGULATION A - IT SHOULD BE CHINA!

Simple, I'd give up the whole fucking idea and concentrate in making the 2D saga better, or better yet,  concentrate in producing other worthy sagas like FUCKING GAROU, or FUCKING ART OF FIGHTING or FUCKING  LAST BLADE instead.

No, not even remotely like that. I'm talking like
[ Garou Densetsu Wild Ambition ] Mr. Karate redizzy 100% combo
this. 3D renders in a 3D backgrounded world, but without the rotating camera or angles during combat. I don't care how stylish it may look, it isn't practical.

Also, agreed to Vecta's post... We never found out who took out Takuma! We've never seen what happened to Rock's momma! Why not put the resources into the continuity?

- @ Don Vecta & cactusmomma, Who doesn't a sequel for a Garou : Mark of the Wolves or Art of Fighting or Last Blade, guys you made cry, we were dreaming about the day that we see those games in the light, it's shame on SNK Playmore, they know how much badly that we want those games to come back, so totally agree with you, and I am not saying forget 2D games, no 2D fighters are in the top priority, but from time to time try something new.

- I never played Garou : Wild Ambition, but it seems more balanced than KOF MI.

Why must U continue to shit on our parade? We MI fans aren't rock bottom enough for U that U have to mention other SNK games that has NOTHING to do with the topic? We may never see another KOF MI game again, but at least let a man have his dreams.

- Before 2 days I couldn't sleep a whole day, 24 hours, I was thinking about MI3, I was thinking about small pieces of details like characters models, backgrounds, gameplay changes ect ... I felt like I am the producer of the game, I just want to prove that a 3D KOF can be hot and kick ass other fighting games.

- Past will remain past, it's something we can't change it, but the future is something could carry good or bad things, no body knows, I am not trying to convince you about MI series, but I will give you a good example of things can be changed for better in the future.

- Mortal Kombat is one of famous fighting games in the world, the creators of the game started the project with 2D graphics engine, the game made huge success in all over the world, they sold millions of cabinets and copies, then Midway decided to go with 3D graphics, and from here the problems started, they couldn't do a great MK game like the old 2D MK, (3D MK Games ~ MK4, MK Deadly Alliance, MK Deception, MK Armageddon and MK vs DC ~ ) , I played all the 3D MK games but inside me I was not satisfied, really they ruined the game, most of the fans were complaining about the changes, it's not the old MK that we like, then after all a light of hope came to change all the bad experiences from the past, the team decided to go back to the roots, they implemented all the 2D mechanisms in the latest MK game with 3D graphics, and the result was super, it plays like old MK even better, so the problem is not about 3D, it's about how you are going to do the game !!!

Well if they can get rid of all the characters I mentioned and make a new 3D KOF but in a 2D plane (like MK9 and SF4) it'll be cool Smiley

It will be amazing if they follow the steps of MK 9 and SF IV, as I said they need to start everything from the scratch, throw everything in the garbage !!!
