Forum rules. READ BEFORE POSTING!

RULES AND GUIDELINES

1) All members should follow these rules, inform other members about them, and warn the moderation about members that do not follow them. In case somebody is breaking forum rules DO NOT CONFRONT HIM/HER, please use the Report to Moderator button and the staff will take care of the situation.

2) Respect other members. Make only constructive criticism, avoid offending the other members, and please do mind that this site, Cyberfanatix, is a gathering place for people of all creeds, ethnicities, ideologies, and preferences.

3) No SMS language. Don't type with CAPS LOCK. Use the language of the current forum. In case somebody doesn't speak the forum language, please request a translation of fellow members or use a translation website like Google or Babelfish.

4) Don't multi-post or bump threads. If by accident you double-posted please edit your post and request a post deletion. Don't flood the forums with useless or empty posts, don't make unnecessary quotations, don't bump dead threads unless it's highly relevant and necessary.

5) Before opening a new thread, make sure there's already an existing one.

6) Don't go off-topic. Forum games and off-topic content are allowed only in The Social Hall or The Twilight Zone. Any other sort of off-topic post must be avoided in other forums. Trolling (acting in a particular controversial, inflammatory, extraneous, annoying or off-topic behavior to provoke an disruption in a normal on-topic discussion) it's prohibited. While controversial yet contributing posts are allowed, we encourage users not to respond to post that cause an off-topic derailment or cause personal distress. Feel free to report off-topic posts or flame baiting comments.

7) Do not post pornography of any kind, be it pictures, artwork, stories, erotic fanfics, videos or in any other species. Do not post shock images, like mutilations, goatse, scat, or any similar things.

8) Do not spam or announce your websites, blogs, objects, and services on the boards. If you want to announce a combo video or a versus match please put the original sources. Commerce is prohibited on Cyberfanatix. Disguised links are prohibited, specially if they lead to shock sites or to games that benefit from each page hit (The Crims, for example). Depending the case this might cause an automatic ban if necessary.

9) Creating multiple accounts it's highly penalized. This fault will cause automatic ban of the original account and deletion of the multiple accounts.

10) Do not reveal personal information of other members without their consent. No personal discussions, no references to other sites or members (banned or not banned) for the purposes of flaming are allowed either.

11) Do not post links to ROMs, illegal music downloads, programs, cracks, or any other kind of warez.

12) Avoid posting large images. It is also prohibited to use too large signatures. Anything larger than 100 kb in size is discouraged, and it's prohibited to use any signs larger than 200 pixels in width or height.

13) Do not complain about getting karma reduced. If it's reduced it is for a reason that made you lose respect or a disagreement with posts you've done. Face it, we are not golden coins to be liked by everyone... and take it with a grain of salt, IT'S JUST TEH INTERNETZ!!

14) And DO NOT provoke or taunt out a moderator, administrator or any person of the CX Staff.

In case of rule violations.

- Moderators and Administrators are free to edit or delete any post that are breaking the forum rules. Should you disagree with a measure taken by a moderator, please send a PM to him/her or the Administrator and show your point of view.

- The penalties for breaking forum rules are as follow:

1) Official Warning.
2) Temporary Ban
3) Definite Ban.

- Lastly, the Administrator decision it's unappealing.
