Because nobody cares about old KOF's anymore. Perhaps if your boys started to make combos in XIII they'd have tons more attention. Sadly, that's how it is now.

But actually, it's not only in the KOF side, but in the CMV scene as well. Now most combo videos are shorter and with simple edition. You can see how the CMV's of Persona are, for example. And still, they don't have the same attention as they used to be.

I still watch the CMVs, but maybe I should post often to show some interest.  Only thing I can say is ugh I hate this kind of music, and the combos was enjoyable to watch. I'm glad CMVs are still being made but I do want to see some 98um, 02um, XI, and XIII. Those games I haven't seen explored much and the cool strange bugs hasn't pop up.

I had lots of reasons to stop, but this is one of these reasons...

Some games are very old, and lot of people explored so much too, it is very hard find something new and interesting things in these games, you need hours, days, months to make one decent cmv of oldschool games.

I know that people like Thyagami,Hanzo or Cyberyagami can still make good combos, but sorry, all of these combos are old.

I agree in parts with vecta, but I'd like to explain just one point:  In 2012, CMVs of oldschool games can still be apreciated, like you see the chinese community, lots of cmvs with old games, and amazing though.

Andresk made one amazing cmv a month ago, with oldschool games, it is one decent video to appear in SRK for example, in the last year one UC project was very appreciated, like New Blood Series and some other videos.

My opinion:  Don't stop, just try, and try again, try make better the another CMVs, and the people will appreciate koffurious again, like in 7 years ago.

I agree with the 3 comments.

Vecta, you said what is really happening ... the scene of CMV "died", but not only by the side of the KOF. It really is very sad what is happening. These combos were stored for a while, but lacked someone to edit. We like 2k2, we still have many good combos. 2 more to come ... with an edition of CYBER Yagami and another for my part, but will be later on.

Pureyeti, I am also so watch, but do not comment as before.
I am unhappy when I see no criticism, because I would like to be like before.
Both did, if the video was good or bad it was, there were several comments in all forums that postavamos. I'm glad you liked the combos, the music is "heavy", but it is our style, we like to put something aggressive, it combines with the threads. But that's alright ... not pleases everyone.

It's expensive, it is difficult to do new things, have to try hard to release something good.
In one thing I disagree with you. The combos are not old. It may be that either have older setups, but several Video combos are new and less creative, when it was not, were hard.

We have no conditions to CMV KOFXIII.
We have a good PC to emulate or a console to play.

It is a sad reality, unlike the Chinese.
They released any old game and everything looks great, I agree ... should be a pact ... lol But thanks for the comments.

is not like the old days when games had a lot people following them...
i mean, that time, kof (98~2002) had a lot of worldwide fans playing and also in the combo making scene, now few people still play kof, even some kof players changed their franchise (MK, BB, MVC3, sf) and people that play the other franchises games, don't like play kof anymore.

A cmv made with all games named above? yeah great, but it's hard to find some combomakers for that. most players are now full time online players

It's about taking matters into our own hands. I know there's plenty of combomakers out there but lack equipment, training, research, or the will to do so. Heck it too me a while to say screw it just give it a try. Plus it's tough reaching to other fellow combomakers from across the globe.

Unfortunately it'll will take me forever to get a Xbox 360 or PS3. Otherwise I would've already tackled XIII (or any of the new fighters). But for now, I'll just keep messing with the old school fighters.

In the near future, if anybody here would like me to help or start a collaboration CMV then COME AT ME BRO!

It ... the world of 2D KOF is shattering.
The players do not play, nobody makes combos to launch and no one feels the urge to watch some video that other people are still doing. This applies to the KOF FURIOUS. We have several combos to launch, but we have no public to see. This is sad, does not motivate it at all. Soon I will be releasing another video with several friends, but I'm not no little anxious, the video is good, has good combos, but I did almost nothing a matter of editing, because I know that nobody will bother to download, see HD or admire the combos and editing. I will launch the video just because I like to throw. Do not want to leave the scene of CMVs "die." I would like to see all the old makers gather in a great video again. As was the END NEVER 2 or 3. But unfortunately they are all "dead".

It's unfortunate.

I guess the most important thing here is, as long you guys still have the interest and the spark to make combos and still have fun making them, go ahead, don't let it stop you. Keep the groove as long as you want.
