Surely this is just yet another business case of "We're renewing the trademark so others cant use it"
It happens all the time but gamesites always report it like its a full on confirmation with bells on.

How is a series from 2005 allowed to have a name patent of the same name as a game from 1994, yet when the patent for that 1994 game is renewed it can't because of a failed show from 2005 has the same name even though the game came 11 years before? *head explodes*
