Don't get me wrong, I love the Batman characters/universe, but I love variety tenfold.
I'm sure Warners are forcing their hand anyway, I wouldnt be suprised if every character from Dark Knight Rises doesn't appear in the game.

I actually think that all the DC characters from MK vs DC having the highest chance of making it in. Catwoman's a plus in my book.

At this point, the Joker along with Catwoman are pretty much a given. And well, when it comes to variety i'm sure you've already read that IMO the only way they'd make the roster perfect is if they add Lobo. Despite the fact i'm not really counting on them to do it.

But yeah, can't blame ya for wanting more character's from the DC universe instead of more Batman related character's. Since Batman is the hot thing when it comes to the DC universe at the moment.
