Not surprising, Dark Knight was huge and since almost every big selling franchise ends up turning into at least a trilogy.

But then again, i'm looking forward to it, Nolan's reboot of the Batman movies are excelent.

Wasn't he signed on for 3 movies from the get go?

There's no way DC or WB would let him run off with the success that he's had so far.

Finally saw Scott Pilgrim vs The World ... and it was f'ing AWESOME!

By the end of the movie I was actually pissed off that this movie didn't made it into theaters anywhere close I would have gladly paid to watch it on the big screen.

Revival for great justice of this thread!

I saw Chugyeogja (The chaser) today.

Good movie, those who watched movies like Oldboy will probly like this one or like stories about serial killers might be into it, has a few twists into it that make it a little different.

Fair warning the summary below in the spoiler box might spoil a little bit of the plot since i'm pretty much describing more or less the first half of the movie but i'm trying to keep it lighter than usual on the details. But I recommend going into this movie without reading the preview I made below.

(click to show/hide)
The movie is about a former detective now gone pimp named Jung-Ho having difficulty managing his girls, some of them have gone missing which he assumes either ran away or got bought off by other pimps. When one suspicious customer who keeps rejecting most of the girls calls which he doesn't know his name or anything but presumes that he might be the one behind taking the girls away from him, he sends one of his girls Mi-jin and tells her to keep in touch, try to figure out the guy's name and adress.
Jung tries to figure out who the killer is and where does he live so he won't bother him or his girls anymore and tries to contact some friends that still work in the police that already where aware of the case since some of the killings happened years ago. But as the investigation goes by both parties they collide despite having the same goal. The police wants evidence to finally put him behind bars to avoid getting bad press due to another separate incident involving the mayor while Jung just wants to figure out what's happening with his girls no matter the cost. The rest i'll spare on further details since that would really spoil the movie, but it's a very good suspense movie with plenty of tense moments where you really can't say what'll happen next.

I recommend it, quite suspenseful and has some brutal fights that reminded me of Oldboy.

I just returned from the movies, saw Black Swan today. And I loved it, excellent movie the performances were great, Natalie Portman outdid herself on this one. It kept me on my seat during the whole movie. I recomend it.
