A thread dedicated to the latest shit appearing on the celluloid.

As for some news...

Damn, two movies get canned today.

Spider-Man 4 scrapped and there is plans for a reboot.

Do they really need to reboot this franchise? It's not even 10 years old yet!

Metal Gear Solid movie on indefinite hold.

I'm kinda happy about the MGS news, I think the games are too big for one movie.

I fear this thread is gonna have a lot of rage...

Anyways, I'm gonna wait for DVD/Bluray of Sherlock Holmes and Princess and the Frog, as I was unable to see them in theatres here.

I'm currently collecting classic Jackie Chan movies, and will try to start getting Westerns eventually.

2 movies I'm looking forward to this year are Ironman 2 and Jonah Hex Cool

Chuch. Waiting for them, too.

Back on the Spidey angle, too soon for me. I actually liked Maguire as Parker.

^If Tickets for TS3 is $100, I'll pay $110.

I'm waiting quite impatiently for Alice In Wonderland myself.

Hmm ... i haven't found a movie that is too interesting to be honest ...
i watched valentine's day, and i really enjoyed it ... it seems that the only movies worth watching now, for me atleast, are romantic comedies and some action movies ...
speaking of action movies, did you guys hear about clash of the titans ?

It is indeed awesome.

Well, I just saw Boondock Saints 2. Pretty good, but it's pretty much more of the same, you could pretty much say it's fanservice, so for those who didn't like the 1st movie might wanna skip the 2nd.

But I really liked that they explained Il Duce's past on this one.

I enjoyed Boondock Saints II, it seemed a lot more wacky and cartoonish than the first one, but still good stuff. And the ending is epic. And hell yeah Black Dynamite is awesome.

Let's see, for movies in the theater this year so far...

Book of Eli is great, really well done, post apocalyptic western with heart.

Wolfman is a lot of fun, oldschool horror with over the top violence.

Cop Out, that wacky cop comedy directed by Kevin Smith, is hilarious. It's getting slammed by the critics, but for me it's the funniest movie I've seen in quite a while. Grin

Like, the first half of the movie is really wacky, I laughed my ass off with the forklift scene seeing how they envision the plan and seeing how it turns out later. The ending was kinda of a mixed bag for me, there's parts about it that I really liked others that I found rather weak.

Shiny turd movie is still a turd movie. For that, I'd just PLAY God of War. Less travel involved.
The Hurt Locker won the Oscars last night, smacking the crap out of Avatar, Goddammit, fuck yeah justice was served!

And I'm actually interested in the remake of A Nightmare in Elm Street. Fear Jackie Earle Haley.

well if I want a good dose of Greek myth I'd just watch the original Clash of the Titans. Fantastic movie that one, remake sounds like it fucks with the story too much.

I don't think anyone seriously believed Avatar deserved best picture (and they are a bit foolish if they did), but it should have won all the special effects awards, it kinda earned those.

And Nightmare on Elm Street? I dunno, Robert Englund would be hard to top and I fucking hated the Friday the 13th remake.

They're foolish for thinking a movie they enjoyed deserved a best picture award?

New Ironman 2 trailer out, but if you don't want to spoil yourself don't watch it ;3
