I've always wanted to try Buriki-One.

Also, stay away from DOA4. Horrible, horrible, horrible game, and it being on Xbox is nothing to do with Sega.

i said the sega thing by mistake lol, and I totally disagree ... i do not know whats up with people hating on the game ... But its all about preference, and i absolutely adore that game. I seriously hope that there is a way i end up playing it ...
because i honestly do not want to buy an X box360 simply for one game ...

Hmm so lemme ask, this WHY is it that all the 3d games do not work on MAME ??

I saw they had some HNG64 games going in-game and actually playable. Looking to be shaping up quite a bit.

Saw some vids too, there's still some graphic bugs and there's no sound, but Samsho 64 looks playable if you can get past the buggy graphics.

Edit: Found them ... Warning the following videos are very buggy your expectations may be crushed.

Samurai Shodown 64
Hyper Neogeo 64 MAME 0.136u2 Samurai Spirits 64 / Samurai Shodown 64

Samurai Shodown 64-2
Hyper Neogeo 64 MAME 0.136u1 Samurai Spirits 2: Asura Zanmaden/Warriors Rage

Here are some more obscure fighting games, that hasn't been mentioned yet!

- Blood Storm
- Survial Arts
- War Gods from Midway

All of them are in MK Style, specially War Gods, since from the same company produced.

The 3D games tend to be emulated poorly from the original board. The games are fairly picky about the stuff they run on so even if your computer is leagues better than the arcade board it will just be at odds with the rom. The 3D games usually have slow down, sound glitches, and graphics errors that come just from using mame. Its really just not optimized for some of the 3D games.

The only thing cool about Fight Fever was the seiyuus in the game (Masaki Usui was great IMO), but gameplay-wise stay the hell away from it. It will tear your feeelings apart as Kulie said.

And adding to the list:

- Global Champion/Kaiser Knuckle (JPN)
- Dan-Ku-Ga
- Outlaws Of The Lost Dynasty/Suikonenbu (JPN)
- Fighting Vipers series
- Goiken Muyou "Anarchy in the NIPPON"
- Psychic Force series

oh my god, mame... it's a fighting game and shmup enthusiast heaven. For a long time I didn't use it for much other than Capcom and SNK stuff, but then eventually I spent like 2 years straight just trying to find all the gems I could on the thing, going by reliable developer names and by the years (newer stuff is usually better, I think it's harder to find obscure gems from before 1990/1985 or so).

I see a lot mentioned here that I remember, but has anyone tried Reikai Doushi AKA Chinese Exorcist?? That is one ****ed up game. I mean, it's total crap but it's hilarious.. or maybe I just have a weird sense of humor sometimes. I think it's worth checking out if you haven't already though, I don't remember the file size being too big.

Oh, and looks like someone here IS a fan of DOA... hey mai, (do you still use MSN?  Huh). I don't know if you saw my other post in the "what are you playing" thread, but I recently got into DOA. So, I'm guessing your only exposure to the series has been DOA and/or DOA2/DOA2H? After playing so much DOA2H, I don't know how some one who likes the series can keep themselves from plunging into a pile of xboxs/360s! lol

Also, about stuff like DOA++ and War Gods and other 3D games, I personally had a hard time trying to find a way to get them to run back then... I think the 3D games require special, larger sized roms to get them to work (cmds or something). I only ever got some stuff like the KI games to work, though they crashed sometimes.  Maybe these days it's easier to find the right stuff though.
