I don't know if it's really officially released. there's still no box-image for the game.

Besides M$ are just being rats! YuGiOh plays fine and doesnt D/C you, and I dunno where ur from but my dash(PAL/Australia) still dont have the Deal Of The Week advertised, yet when u go to D/L the games they are 50% off!! So dirty with M$ right now, why couldnt this have happend to a less important XBLA release  Tongue

Well, what I've heard the most is that it's nowhere near NGBC and kinda above 98/Garou =/

Really sad, but it kinda makes sense I guess, wasn't this done before they did NGBC but it had just not been uploaded until now for god knows what reason?

netcode is on the same level of kof98um, so consider it region locked.

Fuck, I just came from the bar to hear this news. This is going to ruin my day then. I'll test it out, but this ain't sounding good at all.

Especially when BC combos are hard as is already.

Okay, guys, run mroe test between international places and in your local area. According to your results we could see if we can set up some tourneys or not... or in case it's regional locked, then just make mini-touneys per country.

Ok, so I gave it a go with Kula and it appears pretty smooth for the most part actually. (Especially considering I haven't maximized my net connection yet because of recent Unholy Acts of the Satanic Order of the Internet)

It's definitely not 98UM.

I'm going to set up my network properly over the weekend and get some matches with some players over in Cali. This should be the best test of the netcode seeing as I'm over in Pennsylvania. Should give us a good idea of how strong this thing is. And see the reactions from other players in the States.

So if anyone's interested, a friend and I tried it out - I'm in Washington and he's in Hawaii, so there's like half an ocean separating us, making our experience a pretty good test of the netcode. And it doesn't hold up.

I played against lots of gringos yesterday

From a distance Chile - USA, the game runs fine, now, there is a notorious input delay with a ping of 200MS, is not unplayable, but could be a trouble against someones, oddly enough, against mexicans and brazilians runed fine, and for some wierd reason, the game runs horrible against a fellow chilean, but again sometimes guys just keep their fucking PC's on, also, it seems like a bad idea to use headset while playing, but that's a personal theory

I'm in the U.S. and played people in Japan, France, Switzerland, and Mexico, so I have a good feel on this. I have also played beyond 200m/s.

The netcode feels like KOF Neowave. It is for the most part, stable. There isn't a one sided input lag like MOTW & 98UM. What there happens to be is mid game lag adjustments like the xbox 180 where if the connection dips below a certain point it adjusts the speed giving you a feeling of a "herky jerky" motion while you are playing.

Personally I always thought KOF Neowave was one of the better xbox 180 titles. I'm still pissed this wasn't as good as NGBC, but all in all it's quite playable compared to other Playmore 360 titles.

Edit: Not saying there isn't input lag at all. However it's for the most part under 1/2 second even at higher pings (I had a 355m/s a little bit ago). If it can stay at a reasonable level and the same for both parties I'm not going to complain too much. For me under 200m/s is hardly much (1/10 of a second maybe). I start to feel it after it hits over 200m/s (a little under 1/4 second).
