I tried to step it up a gear for this mini-portrait..
Not perfect but best I could do with the colours I have available. Bad photo unfortunatly doesnt pick up on the darker browns in her hair and Olive green in her clothing.
Hope I did your lady justice Vecta.

@Mai_Crimson: I am going to work on full-size KOF sprites, but because they have several shades to each colour, I'm going to have to extend my palette. I already tried starting King and Leona, but ran into problems with shading immediatly. So I have a huge order of colours on the way. The only problem then will be deciding who to do first  
Because of the amount of pixels involved (and I also do things exactly to scale) Your average fighting game character will come out about a foot or so in height

@Mature: Mature does need representing, she's been in the project queue for a while now and is pushing to the front. Time it takes me depends on size, shading and how much I mess up. A couple of hours for smaller projects. Mega-Man Vice and similar 8-bit ones take about 45 mins, whereas the Vice portrait, though fairly small, took a few hours just because of the re-colouring.
Blaze took about five/six hours as I screwed up the placement twice and completely re-coloured her legs again once she was finished.

@DV, Eddie: I'll look into it, Mantis Stance you say? I don't remember that *Checks sprite sheets* Oh you mean her natural fighting stance? When you said Mantis I mentally pictured her doing some one-foot Karate Kid shit, that was Crane though wasn't it?

Yeh, her natural fighting stance from SOR1. 'cuz in SOR2 they changed into a rather corny stance that I never liked.

Wow, that's very impressive!
It takes longer than I thought, which explains why the come out looking so good.
