hopefully that also means the official CX channel will act more quickly in uploading its videos since I do have people telling me that they do have to wait until someone uploads to a streaming site as they do not want to download the (full) videos.

i think it's noticeable people want cmvs so you can make a profit out of this (NOT MONEY, instead: user loyalty). you do not have any "real" legal claims on any of the videos. it's not like you own a copyright for them that is officially signed with an agency or anything. it's a little frustrating when you act like that because everyone knows it's just not real ...

cx is inconvenient because all the consumer goods (exclusive news, new downloads like cmvs) are not aggregated into one place. you have your frontpage where you post things, you have different content in the forum that often goes beyond your control (when people post links every day), and you have your youtube channel. furthermore, for the regular visitor, there are also blogs and youtube channels of other people who offer similar content like you.

my recommendation: there is no way you will ever be able to control who uploads what and who doesn't. if someone uploads a new so called "official" cx cmv to his youtube channel there is no way you can make him take it down. therefore: instead of going against it, you should make use of the power that other people have by providing all the content that people want in an aggregated form on your frontpage (i.e link to youtube channels, new cmv releases, etc. don't try to make it your own. it only matters where people get it from, not whose it is). this will make cx the source of the stuff people want and come to cx regularly.
