I know that i'll have an overall easier time using Dazzle, as it does not require me to open up my cpu tower and all. I want to do some KoF: MiRA stuff and maybe try my hand at the comboing in CVJ. I honestly hope that they try a CVJ 2, but maybe in 2.5 D or at least take away the stage hazards and stage edges.

A Dazzle keeps everything in it? If it does, I would love one of those because I am tired of having to redo captures because my PC hiccups.

I actually wanted to wait on a new capture card that can capture in HD quality before I attempted this project but I realized that if I waited, I probably wouldn't even have completed it in this year. Hopefully my next project will use a new capture card.

Well I'm done with the second half of the roster. Number of combos are:

Alucard: 5
Cornell: 4
Carmilla: 4
Golem: 2
Death: 3
Dracula: 2
Aeon: 5

Altogether: 25

The editing for the first video is almost complete. Hopefully it will be fully completed by the end of the week.

If they ever make a sequel they need to improve the controls. That was one thing I didn't like about Castlevania Judgement. Another thing I would like to see is more Castlevania characters and other costumes.

Are you using a Wiimote? Out of all the top players, I only know one person who can actually use a Wiimote and still be a good challenge. Everyone else (including me) use the GC controller or a classic controller.

And there is a secret to the controls that pretty much no one knows. There are some things you cannot do in the default controls but can in another control scheme. Like in default controls, you cannot charge a subweapon while doing 2 button commands but in another config you can. It actually makes a BIG difference to some characters like Trevor, Shanoa and Sypha. Bet when people watch the video, they'll be like, "How is that combo possible?". Smiley

I was also going to make a "What should be fixed/rebalanced in Judgment 2" list but don't know if anyone cares enough to read it.

I used the wiimote whenever I played that game and haven't tried it with the console controller or gamecube controller. I have been a huge Castlevania fan and wouldn't mind to see your list about what should be fixed or rebalanced for Castlevania Judgement 2.

Well here's some:

System

Make stages smaller and make a way where opponents just can't keep running away.

Make opponent be able to take more hits before falling down from a juggle. Count subweapons and singular multiple hit attacks as 1 hit juggle.

Make alot of characters being able to connect their Hyper while making Hyper do less damage (around 25-30%). Hyper still bypasses damage scaling.

Have everyone have an alternate use to their Hyper gauge like Cornell's Rage Mode.

Make Hyper guage fill slower.

Make certain candles give certain things (item candle, hearts candle, number candle).

Make hearts (3) and hearts (5) instead of hearts (5) and hearts (10)

Make Holy Water take more hearts.

Make bats take more hearts while increasing damage as well.

Make axe do more damage while keeping the axe guardcrush as an item crush.

Simon Belmont

Make second hit of Directional Combo untechable.

Make HOLY RUIN knock away farther

Make WHIP TORNADO untechable

Make SUDDEN IMPACT untechable

Alucard

Lower general damage output from 100 to 75 and OBJECT ACTION output from 200 to 150

Make SUMMON SPIRIT less spammable

Fix Neutral Combo (x1) > WINGSMASH glitch

Maria Renard

Give as much health as Carmilla, Death, Eric & Shanoa

Maria randomly falls from certain specials and is vulnerable for about 3 full seconds, take out the vulnerability and add in a fixed damage (15% damage)

Have GENBU CALL come out faster and untechable

Make HOLD ON A MINUTE! knock far away

Have SEIRYUU CALL have more charge time

Trevor Belmont

Make third hit of Neutral Combo do more damage and knock far away while keeping the second hit a juggle

Make third hit of Directional Combo an untechable bounce

Give a feint command to DIVINE STRIKE

Make SUDDEN IMPACT an untechable bounce (while being able to follow up on a juggle in time)

Sypha Belnades

Make first hit of Neutral Combo faster

Make Jump Attack faster

Make FROST WALL do less damage while keeping the same damage for ICICLE BLADES

Make LIGHTNING STRIKE as good as the air version

Make HAMMER OF THOR untechable

Make OBJECT ACTION faster

Eric Lecarde

Lower general damage output from 100 to 80

Make third hit of Directional Combo untechable

Make LIGHTNING SLICE do more damage

Make WHIRLWIND untechable

---

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Smiley

Carmilla top tier, when? I mean I think she's pretty great but that is only because i loves me some carmilla pwnage. Shanoa is top though and I play her as well, but don't read too much into it.

Carmilla is middle tier. She is very fast and does nice damage. Sadly her subweapon selection sucks and has no way to combo her Hyper other than from a stopwatch (which is the only subweapon you can't choose before a match and have to be lucky and find it in the stage). Her Hyper wasn't really meant for comboing anyhow though and is usually used as a defensive mechanic because she does a backflip first then flies forward so it's good for countering players who whiff their move on your backflip.

But with a stopwatch she becomes very powerful considering you can pretty much combo with it from any of her combos.

Here's more:

Golem

Lower general damage output from 100 to 90 and OBJECT ACTION output from 200 to 180

Make extended evade only being about to autoguard a few hits

Make Jumping Attack an untechable bounce being able to follow up with SHOCK PRESS

Make charge time for SHOCK WAVE longer

Dracula

Lower general damage output from 100 to 80

Make him move faster!

Less delay on OBJECT ACTION

Have DARK VOID disappear much faster

Aeon

Unable to use DAGGER

Make all color attack being not being able to be performed in the air, except HOUR OF JUDGMENT

Have NICK OF TIME be able to autoguard only one hit and if it hits, will produce an untechable bounce

Make HOUR OF JUDGMENT untechable

Make THE CLOCK STRIKES THRICE have less range and come out faster (ground)

Carmilla

Make OBJECT ACTION have better hit detection

Make BLOODY HEEL untechable

Make combos connect on Dracula

Cornell

Increase general damage output from 100 to 120

Make OBJECT ACTION have better hit detection

Make ASSASSIN'S CLAW faster

Make all hits of HOWL connect once the first hit connects

It's finished. Just needs credits and finalizing any errors. It'll be out before the 27th (editor's plan is tomorrow) because I want to hurry and play SSFIV (Sorry PS3, you'll have to wait longer, bought myself a hella cheap 360).

Actually you know what? I've had enough of the editor. Argues, annoys on purpose and loves to disappear and leave us hanging on the PC thinking he is actually editing. This video could've been finished about a month ago solely on the editing.

Gonna have to find a new editor and start over and to be honest, I am fed up with this project already.
