So here it is, one of the X-Combo members it's waving bye bye to the scene... or so it seems, so he released this last video along with some guest friends. I guess there was a preview shown already over here, but not sure... anyways, time to review.

Combos.

Ermm... Not exactly the way I'd love to retire, if you'd ask me. Plenty of these combos are just plain repetitive, old, unoriginal and boring. Come on, Kim's stomp combo over Mature or Vice!? How many times they have done that? There were some combos quite nice, though.. but most of them were from the special guests.

And what's with the count thingie?

Edition.

Okay, guys, prepare yourself to have seizures or feel like you're on an acid trip (a bad one) in a shitty J-pop club. Todo made the edition on this one, while it could have some good elements that could make it look real cool, they simply over-clogged the combos, and pretty much I couldn't see shit of the whole set up or combo. Now combine a visual overdose with Youku's shitty quality and your eyes' gonna bleed. It needed balance to make combos more appreciative and understand the set ups.

Music.

Have I already said that I fucking hate Ayumi Hamasaki? If not, okay, I'll say it again: I HATE AYUMI HAMASAKI! But then again, it's music, subjetive taste so many people might enjoy it. The other tracks were normal, non-commit BGM.

Overall this video was far from I could use to wave goodbye of the scene walk into the sunset. They tried to make it so flashy and glittery to the point it was just too much. The content was lacky (or maybe i felt it lacky cuz the weird edition dancing over the combo didn't make the combo be appreciated) and music was bleh. I think this could have been a lot better work and well... it simply gave me a nasty headache and swear never to smoke green grass again while listening too sickly-sweet japanese music.

Oh... and thanx to mention CX.com in their final credits... even though these guys rarely show up with us (now I doubt they'll hang out more after reading this review... oops). Tongue

I enjoyed it but the zooming in during the combos was pretty annoying to me
