Honestly for about 5 minutes I thought... okay, maybe I'll give Diablo 3 a shot.

But thanks Blizzard, you make ignoring everything you do so easy for me.

Oh well, on another note, I bought E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy which has been something of Steam's current indy darling. It is, as has been reported, a little rough. But the level design and architecture is some jaw dropping stuff for the Source engine and the character skills development is incredibly deep. It is let down by a lack of equal depth in the AI and some things don't quite work but if the Devs keep supporting this game it will become something pretty special fast.

Sorry for the double post, just something I want to get your point-of-view on this.

I've been reading around and I saw the announcement that Diablo 3 not only will prohibit modding and have a market system to trade itens for real cash and will have the players to stay online at all times when you play it.

You can play offline....online the game force to play online even if you dont want to play with others, Moddings breaks the game sadly but true you easily get sets armor or super rare armor in Diablo II via Mods, go online and kill anyone with ease.

I really hate the microtransactions items because there always a douchebag with "premium" armor in the first days of every game

The core game is veeeery simple, easy and friendly more than Diablo 2 dont like the cartoonish censured game

I don't mind the modding since it was never strong for those games. But the only way you're gonna play offline is if you crack the game, it's there on the articles if your internet connection drops or whatever you're kicked back into the login screen.

Tried out Hard Reset demo. It's ok, really, kinda reminded me of game like Serious Sam and Painkiller, it has areas with lots of enemies coming at you at the same time, old-school health and shield points (Not bloody screen regenerative health) and it's actually Hard like the name implies. Consider me intrigued.

Sorry to double-post, but for anyone interested a new Humble Bundle is out. This time it's only the Frozen Synapse game, it's pretty good for those who like turn-based strategy games somewhat similar to X-Com. Also if you pay above the average they'll throw in the Fronzenbyte bundle which includes 5 others games such as Trine and Shadowgrounds. It's worth checking out.

Ressurection for great justice ... well sorta.

I just played the demo for The Darkness 2. I'm impressed with it, the demo ran smoothly on maximum, visually it's different from most shooters, it's surprisingly colorful, gunplay is good, the Darkness powers are actually pretty versatile and the skill tree seems to give plenty of choices for new powers.

Only problem I found is that the best way to gain points is to do special execution moves which are easily exploited since you're invincible during the act and it's easy to do just take one shot to the enemy to stun them, grab, execute, rinse, wash, repeat.

But all in all, I liked it better than most shooters, so i'll see if i'll buy it once it comes out.

Oh I played that demo to and really enjoyed it, definitely buying.

I also played the Kingdoms of Amalur demo and it was fun, but talk about glitch. I found more glitches in that demo in an hour than I found in about 50 hours of Skyrim.

I bought Gotham City Impostors yesterday. Gotta say it's pretty fun, it felt a bit CoDish mixed with a bit of TF2 at first, there are some elements the resemble both those games, but once you start learning the gadgets or learning how to use the classes or customizing the loadout, body-types, perks and rampage power into something more fitting to your play-style the game does feel like it allows for quite a bit of versatility when it comes to tactics. Though at the moment I still suck at it, i've only been in the top 3 players once and I played this for quite a few matches yesterday, but still i'm having fun with it.

And since I got it post-patch, the matchmaking (on PC) works pretty fast, the only major glitch i've experienced is the game crashing before returning to the lobby sometimes, though it still recorded my progress. Despite that i'm not too fond of having to use GFWL as well so far it's been a positive experience.

Virtua Quest Playstation 2

Back then, it was a really interesting concept to turn Virtua Fighter into an RPG, but looking back at it...It feels like a total insult to the Virtua Fighter series as a whole. Despite all that, it was really cool to hear Aoi and Lei-Fei speak English for the first time.
